Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) runs from Wednesday 21 to Sunday 25 October 2026, and this year the organisers mark 30 years of ADE. Facts checked on 22 October 2026. Line-ups, sold-out status and transport plans change daily, so confirm on the organiser page before you go.
ADE started in 1996 as a three-day conference with about 300 delegates and thirty DJs. It is now two things at once: a daytime conference programme for the music industry (ADE Pro) and a nighttime festival of club nights, day parties, concerts and art across the city. The Amsterdam Dance Event Foundation organises it.
ADE 2026 starts on Wednesday 21 October and ends on Sunday 25 October. The conference runs Wednesday to Saturday. The festival runs all five days, with day parties starting around noon and many clubs running through the night.
For the festival, yes, but not one ticket: each organiser sells its own tickets. There is no festival pass. The ADE Pro Pass is for the conference and comes with limited festival access that ADE says it cannot guarantee at busy venues. Read ADE 2026 tickets: Pro Pass or festival tickets before you buy, and see the free ADE events if you want to start without paying.
Announced names include Eric Prydz, Amelie Lens, DJ Snake, Afrojack, Ben Klock, Adam Beyer, Adriatique, Kerri Chandler and Paul Kalkbrenner. Skepta presents Más Tiempo at Warehouse Elementenstraat, David Guetta brings his Monolith show to AMF, and Jean-Michel Jarre is billed for the Pro conference in a session called Music & Machines. The full night-by-night list is in our ADE 2026 programme.
Across the whole city and a little beyond it: the NDSM wharf and the A'DAM Tower area in Noord, clubs and warehouses in West, Paradiso and Melkweg in the centre, the arenas in Zuidoost, and Awakenings at the Sugarfactory in Halfweg, outside Amsterdam. Our ADE 2026 venues guide groups them by area so you can plan a night without crossing the city twice.
The metro does not normally run between 00:30 and 06:00. For ADE, GVB runs metro lines 52 and 54 until 02:00 on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October, and the free ferries run more often. Details are in getting around Amsterdam during ADE 2026.
