Tulum nightlife runs in three zones, and the prices change with each. The beach road (the Carretera Tulum–Boca Paila, also called the Zona Hotelera) holds the ticketed clubs: Papaya Playa Project at Km 4.5, Bonbonniere at Km 4, and Gitano, Mía and Taboo around Km 7 to 7.5. Tulum town, the Pueblo, has the cheaper bars along Avenida Tulum and Calle Centauro Sur, plus Santino, which lists a 05:00 finish. The jungle and cenote sites, Tehmplo, Zamna Tulum and Day Zero, run only a few weeks a year around the turn of the year. On a normal late-October week the beach road does most of the work: Gitano's Gypsy Disco on Friday 23 October 2026 and Papaya Playa Project's Full Moon on Saturday 24 October, with doors at 20:00 and last entry at 00:50. Worth knowing: September to November is the slow period, so check each venue's night before you set off.

It is a ticket-first night out on the beach road. Most club nights are titled events with a line-up and price tiers. The town runs on a different clock. Batey on Calle Centauro Sur lists 07:00 to 22:00 hours in two directories, and Atico on Avenida Coba Sur closes at 23:00. Santino lists 19:00 to 05:00, but a 2026 safety guide describes Avenida Tulum as active until about 22:00 or 23:00 and quiet after midnight, and Santino's end time is unconfirmed.
