Krakow nightlife happens mostly underground. The Old Town hides cellar clubs under the houses around the Main Square, from Prozak 2.0 on Plac Dominikański to Lastriko on Gołębia, while Kazimierz runs on bars around Plac Nowy and techno basements on Dajwór and ul. Nowa. The two areas are about fifteen minutes apart on foot, so one night can take in both. Doors open from 21:00, clubs close between 04:00 and 06:00, and entry usually costs 20–60 zł. Across the Vistula, Podgórze, Zabłocie and the Hotel Forum in Dębniki are quieter outside festival weeks. Worth knowing: since 1 September 2026 shops cannot sell alcohol between 22:00 and 06:00, and drinking in the street is illegal.
