Gothenburg nightlife runs along one avenue and spreads out from it. Kungsportsavenyn, known as Avenyn, is about a kilometre long and has the city's highest concentration of pubs and clubs, from Park Lane and Lounge(s) to Valand. Vasastan sits behind it, with Yaki-Da open until 04:00 and Excet on Vasagatan. West of the centre, Pustervik at Järntorget mixes gigs with a club night that is free before midnight, and the bars on Andra Långgatan stay busy till late. Most clubs close between 03:00 and 04:00, Park Lane at 05:00. Worth knowing: the age limit changes by night, so a club that is 20+ on Thursday can be 25+ on Saturday.
