Koh Phangan has no club district. The nightlife is spread over a few separate zones and the calendar follows the moon. The Full Moon Party takes place on Sunrise Beach at Haad Rin, and the next one is on Tuesday 27 October 2026, moved a day from 26 October because the full moon falls on Ok Phansa, a Buddhist holy day with an alcohol sales ban. Entry is ฿200 at the beach gate and the official site says the party is permitted to run until 06:00. Between full moons the choice moves inland: OXA runs a Friday jungle party on three stages near Ban Tai, Half Moon Festival and Jungle Experience hold ticketed all-night events in the Ban Tai forest, and Eden Garden hosts a free Saturday session on the rocks above Haad Yuan that is reached by boat. Thong Sala, the main town and ferry port, and Srithanu on the west coast have bars that close between 01:00 and 02:00. The ride home is a songthaew, a taxi or a boat at a price agreed in advance. Worth knowing: Thai alcohol rules switch off retail sales on the main Buddhist holy days, and full-moon parties are moved to the following night when the two coincide.

It is an island of separate scenes, not one nightlife centre. Haad Rin, at the southern tip, has the beach bars and the Full Moon Party.
