Mykonos

Mykonos nightlife runs on a season, roughly from May to early October, with July and August the busiest and most expensive weeks. The day shapes the night: beach clubs at Paraga, Psarou and Super Paradise run from lunch into the evening, Little Venice fills for sunset, and the bars of Chora (Mykonos Town) carry on until 05:00 or 06:00. The one big late club is Cavo Paradiso, on the cliff above Paradise Beach, open from 23:00 to 07:00. Tickets sell online, and tables are a minimum spend that includes entry. Worth knowing: taxis are scarce at night, so book a transfer or check the last bus before you go out.

What to expect

The season is short, so plan around it. Venues open between April and June and close by early October, with July and August the busiest and most expensive weeks. In 2026 JackieO' Town Bar opened on 9 April and its beach club on 15 May, and Scorpios held its final night on 4 October. Bonbonniere is due back in May 2027. From November to April services are limited and the big venues are closed.

The day and the night happen in different places. The beach clubs run from lunch through sunset: SantAnna and Scorpios at Paraga, Nammos at Psarou, JackieO' at Super Paradise. After dinner the night moves to the bars of Chora and Little Venice, and the late crowd heads to Cavo Paradiso, which opens at 23:00 and runs to 07:00.

Getting around is the hard part. There are few taxis for the number of visitors, and finding one after a club can take a long time. KTEL buses leave from Fabrika and the Old Port, water taxis run from the Old Port to Paradise Beach, and the clubs point you to private transfers. Book the ride home before you go out.

Who this city is for

House and techno fans

Cavo Paradiso is 22nd in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs 2026, and SantAnna booked Black Coffee, Vintage Culture and The Martinez Brothers in August 2026. Void is the small deep house and techno room in town.

Beach-club crowds

SantAnna, Scorpios, Nammos and JackieO' Beach Club run from lunch into the evening, with pools, cabanas and DJs. Alemagou does the same on the north coast.

Sunset watchers

Scarpa and Katerina's in Little Venice, the terrace at 180° Sunset Bar and the sunset beach at Scorpios all build the evening around the sun going down.

LGBTQ+ travellers

Mykonos has been a gay destination since the 1980s, and JackieO' Town Bar on the Paraportiani waterfront has a drag show every night in season.

Dinner-and-show nights

Lío Mykonos serves dinner with a cabaret show, then turns into a club from 00:30.

Groups with a table budget

Tables at Cavo Paradiso are a minimum spend that covers entry and drinks, with half paid up front. Bonbonniere is table-led too, with a minimum age of 21.

Not for you if you want a cheap, spontaneous night. Taxis are scarce, the clubs are spread around the island, and from November to April services are limited and the big venues are closed.

The neighbourhoods

Chora & Little Venice — bars, drag and the late town

Mykonos Town is where the night ends up. Little Venice has Scarpa, Semeli and Katerina's on the water, and JackieO' Town Bar on the Paraportiani waterfront has the drag shows. Lío, Astra, Queen of Mykonos and Bonbonniere sit around Tria Pigadia and Enoplon Dinameon, 180° Sunset Bar looks over the town from the castle, Skandinavian has played summer hits since 1978 and Void is the small techno room on Lakka Square. Everything is on foot, and the taxi rank is on Taxi Square.

Paradise Beach — the party beach

Cavo Paradiso on the hill at the end of the beach, Paradise Beach Club from 16:30 and Tropicana's beach parties. KTEL buses run from Fabrika, and water taxis come from the Old Port.

Super Paradise — beach club over the bay

JackieO' Beach Club, with a pool and a 360º bar above the water. KTEL lists Super Paradise among its bus routes; plan the way back before you settle in.

Paraga — two big beach clubs

SantAnna's saltwater pool and DJ days, and Scorpios for sunset. In the October 2026 timetable buses ran hourly from Fabrika, so book a taxi or transfer for the trip back.

Psarou — Nammos and the yacht crowd

A bay five minutes' drive south of Chora, with Nammos, cabanas, yacht berthing and a helipad. Expensive, and best for a long lunch that turns into an evening.

Ftelia — the north coast

Alemagou is an all-day beach bar and restaurant here, open since 2010, with DJ sets and sunset sessions. It is not on KTEL's list of destinations, so plan a taxi or a transfer both ways.

At the door

Getting in

Cavo Paradiso is strictly 18+ and checks ID: an ID card, a passport or a driving licence. Its dress code is stylish and evening-appropriate, with no swimwear. Lío is stricter: chic summer style, and no beachwear, sportswear, flip-flops or pool slides, with the door team deciding. Bonbonniere admits from 21, and guides say Astra expects smart dress. The town bars and beach bars listed here otherwise publish no door policy.

What it costs to get in

Ticket prices change with each night and are sold online, sometimes only through the venue's own website, as at SantAnna. Tables are sold as a minimum spend that includes entry and is redeemable for drinks and bottles; at Cavo Paradiso you pay half as a deposit and the rest before you go in. None of the town bars here publish a door fee.

Getting home

Taxis are limited and in demand. The rank is on Taxi Square in Chora, and finding a car after a club can take a long time. KTEL buses leave from Fabrika and the Old Port; in the October 2026 timetable the last bus from Fabrika to Paradise Beach left at 23:15 and the last one back at 23:30, so check the summer timetable before you rely on it. Water taxis run from the Old Port to Paradise, and the clubs list private transfer companies. A pre-booked transfer is the safest plan for a 07:00 finish.

Normal night — about €35 plus a ticket

The same dinner and drinks, a club ticket bought online for the night, and the bus out to Paradise Beach before the last departure.

A beach club in the afternoon, dinner and the show at Lío, then a table at Cavo Paradiso as a minimum spend and a private transfer home. The table, not the door, is the main cost.

What visitors get wrong

Book the ride home first

Taxis are few and in demand at night. Book a private transfer before you go out, especially for a 07:00 finish at Cavo Paradiso.

Check the bus timetable for the month

KTEL Mykonos changes its timetable through the year. In October 2026 the last bus from Fabrika to Paradise Beach left at 23:15. Check at the station or on mykonosbus.com.

Buy from the venue itself

SantAnna sells its tickets only on its own website. Cavo Paradiso sells online, in its app and at its boutiques.

Headliners start late

At Cavo Paradiso the main DJ usually starts around 01:45. Doors at 23:00 are for the warm-up.

Read a table price as a bar tab

A table is a minimum spend that includes entry and is redeemable for drinks and bottles. Half is paid as a deposit.

Bring real ID

Cavo Paradiso is strictly 18+ and accepts an ID card, a passport or a driving licence. Bonbonniere is 21+.
