Free ADE 2026 events: ADE Lab Discovery, Zwart Goud instores and the FYOS meetup, with dates and registration.
Most ADE events need a ticket, but not all of them. Here are the free ones confirmed for ADE 2026 (21 to 25 October), what you need to do to get in, and the caveats.
For tickets that do cost money, see ADE 2026 tickets.
Facts checked on 22 October 2026. Line-ups, sold-out status and transport plans change daily, so confirm on the organiser page before you go.
ADE Lab Discovery is free to attend from Wednesday to Friday, with advance registration requested. The ADE Lab Village is in Westerpark (Cultural Park Westergas). It is separate from the Pro Pass: the Pro Pass does not include ADE Lab.
Record shop Zwart Goud on the Geldersekade hosts ADE instores from 21 to 25 October. Walking in is enough: no ticket, guest list or time slot. Capacity is limited, so the shop can fill up at busy hours.
Find Your Own Sound hosts a producer meetup at Duke of Tokyo on the Reguliersdwarsstraat on Thursday 22 October, with a demo feedback session in the afternoon, networking and DJ sets in the evening. Registration is required, especially for the demo session.
ADE Lab On Track is a three-day coaching programme for emerging professionals. ADE's ticket page lists no price, so check the ADE Lab pages for the conditions.
Mood reports that ADE's own agenda lists more than 110 free moments, including a free programme at the ADE Lab Village, but it does not track most of them. Times, dates and registration rules are on ADE's programme pages.
No. Event platforms tag events as free based on how they were first listed. Many events tagged free now need a ticket or are sold out. Mood, which tracks the programme, confirmed only the Zwart Goud instores and the FYOS meetup after checking promoter pages. Always check the organiser's page.
The IJ ferries behind Centraal are free, and our Amsterdam guide lists the bars and brown cafés for pre-drinks. For the paid programme see the ADE 2026 programme.
There is no free festival pass, but ADE Lab Discovery (Wednesday to Friday) and some record-shop events are free.
For ADE Lab Discovery and the FYOS meetup, yes. The Zwart Goud instores are walk-in.
