LOFI is a former GVB bus garage on the Basisweg near Sloterdijk, rebuilt as a club with the stated aim of keeping Amsterdam's free-spirited night culture alive. Inside there is the Club and the Colorfloor; outside, an open-air area the club calls its concrete oasis.
The programme comes from outside promoters as much as from the house, so one weekend is a live-electronics night from 23:00 to 06:00 and the next a drum and bass or queer party. Every event is 18+. Check the line-up before you travel, because there is no default night. Not for you if you want a club you can walk to from the centre.
