Underground techno club beneath the A'DAM Tower in Amsterdam-Noord — Funktion-One sound, a 360° LED ceiling and a no-phones policy.
Shelter is the club beneath the A'DAM Tower in Noord, a short walk from the free Buiksloterweg ferry. There are two rooms, the main Club and the smaller Restroom, both on Funktion-One sound, with a low ceiling, a central booth and a 360-degree LED ceiling in the main room. Capacity is around 1,000.
Phones stay off the dancefloor, which keeps the room focused. Recent bookings have included Antal with Palms Trax, Chris Stussy and Skepta, and DJ Mag put it at number 90 in its Top 100 Clubs for 2026. Regular club nights open at 23:00 and run until at least 06:00; the doors close at 04:00. Not for you if you want to film your night.
House, techno, trance, italo disco and afro house nights with international DJs; Funktion-One sound system and a 24/7 party permit.
No phones on the dancefloor; the house rules ban them inside the venue too.
