When are the Rio Carnival 2027 parades and who parades each night?

The order below was drawn by Liesa in April, as reported by Poder360 and Imirante:

  • Sunday 7 February: União de Maricá, Beija-Flor, Paraíso do Tuiuti and Vila Isabel.
  • Monday 8 February: Mocidade, Unidos da Tijuca, Salgueiro and Imperatriz Leopoldinense.
  • Tuesday 9 February: Portela, Viradouro, Grande Rio and Mangueira.

The Sábado das Campeãs on 13 February brings back the six best-placed schools. The sources checked do not give start times for the Grupo Especial nights.

How much do Sambadrome tickets cost in 2027?

The most recent sales stage reported, the fifth, opened on Thursday 10 September at 18:00 through Ticketmaster. These were returned seats from cancelled orders and unfinished payments. Prices at that stage:

  • Special stands, sectors 2 to 11 except 9: R$250 per night, on both the even and odd sides.
  • Half price (meia-entrada): R$125 for students, people with disabilities, people aged 60 and over and low-income young people who meet the legal criteria.
  • Individual numbered seats, sector 12: R$250 per night in the August stage.
  • Frisas: R$1,835 to R$10,200 per night, for up to six people, depending on proximity to the track.

Sectors 12 and 13, the popular stands at the Praça da Apoteose, were to be sold in a later stage with no date or price given. The checked pages do not state whether anything has sold out since 10 September.

Which Rio Carnival 2027 tickets are sold out?

Tupi reported on 29 July that the Passaporte Rio Carnaval, which covered the three competitive nights, and the Ingresso Sambista, bought first with the day chosen afterwards, were both "esgotadas". The third stage that followed on 10 August covered the special stands in sectors 2 to 11 (except 9) and the numbered seats in sector 12. Liesa's own ticket page still showed the Carnaval 2024 banner when checked, so Ticketmaster is the page to trust for live availability.

What are the purchase limits?

The limits changed between stages. In the 10 August stage, one half-price ticket was allowed per CPF per parade day and a maximum of four tickets per person. In the 10 September stage, each buyer could take up to two tickets per parade day, including the Sábado das Campeãs, with only one half-price ticket per CPF in total and one frisa per CPF. Ticketmaster opens a virtual waiting room before each stage, but joining early does not guarantee a better place in the queue. Liesa's customer line is (21) 3190-2100.

What does the Série Ouro cost and when is it?

The Série Ouro, run by Liga RJ, takes place on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 February 2027 at the Sapucaí, starting at 20:50. Tickets cost R$45, or R$22.50 half price, in sectors 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 11, and went on sale on Tuesday 18 August at 12:00 through Ticketmaster. Eight schools parade on the Friday, among them São Clemente, Unidos do Jacarezinho and Porto da Pedra, and nine on the Saturday, among them Acadêmicos de Santa Cruz, Estácio de Sá and Império Serrano.
