GLOW Eindhoven, the city's light-art festival, runs from Saturday 7 to Saturday 14 November 2026 under the theme CONNECT. This post sets out the route, the nightly opening times, the one paid element (the drone show at Philips Stadion) and the practical rules for trains, bikes and cars, based on the festival's own pages.
For a drink or a club night afterwards, see the Eindhoven nightlife guide and the best clubs in Eindhoven.
Facts checked on 22 October 2026. Line-ups, prices, sold-out status and transport plans change, so confirm on the organiser page before you go.
GLOW is an annual festival of light art in squares, parks and streets. The 2026 theme, CONNECT, is described by the organisers as a place for encounter and interaction between people, technology and environment. The founding partners are the Municipality of Eindhoven and Signify. Philip Ross, the festival director, takes on artistic leadership this year.
The festival's news item lists these stops on the roughly 5 km route: 18 Septemberplein, Victoriapark, Emmasingel, Stadhuisplein, Catharinakerk, Smalle Haven and the Markt. Named works include Macchina by Tom & Lien Dekyvere at 18 Septemberplein, a 13.5-metre installation by Nohlab at Stadhuisplein, and Fabellicht, a children's project by Hugo Vrijdag at Catharinakerk and other locations. The practical page says an interactive map is online, although the route page still says it is coming soon. The printed map costs €2.
Walking the route costs nothing. In Eindhoven the artworks are on from 18:30 to 23:00. The regional routes in Best, Oirschot, Veldhoven, Lieshout and Helmond close an hour earlier, at 22:00. Those towns have their own routes, listed at glowinderegio.nl. The practical page warns that the works use flickering lights, bright flashes and changing colours, and advises people with photosensitive epilepsy not to visit.
GLOW returns to Philips Stadion for the first time since 2019 with The Breathing Collective, the first drone show in Eindhoven, made with TWOFIFTYK. It runs for all eight days with at least four shows each evening, possibly six depending on demand, and each show lasts about 15 minutes. You reserve a time slot, and the symbolic price is €2 per person. The stadium holds 4,600 visitors per show, with room to scale up to 7,000. The organisers describe a drone, light, music and storytelling show about the relationship between the individual and the group. The pages fetched give neither the start times nor the number of drones.
The route ends its evening at 23:00, which leaves time for a late drink or club. Our Eindhoven nightlife neighbourhoods guide covers the main areas, and the dance programme at Strijp-S for later in the season is in Klokgebouw dance events, November 2026 to January 2027.
