The 10 best clubs in Zagreb, ranked: Depo, Boogaloo, Peti Kupe, Masters and more, with entry prices, closing times and what each door expects.
The best clubs in Zagreb mostly sit in old industrial buildings outside the old town. Depo is in a former factory, Boogaloo books the headliners, Peti Kupe swings from trance to disco and Klub Močvara is a rough alternative room near the Sava. Aquarius is a two-floor club on the Jarun lakeside, Masters is a wooden loft in Maksimir, and Klub Dva Osam, AKC Medika, Tvornica Kulture and Vintage Industrial Bar fill the nights in between with gigs and student-price parties.
This list covers the full range, from techno to punk. Each entry gives the entry price where it is published, the closing time, what the door expects and one honest reason to skip it. The basics: club nights start around 23:00 and run to 05:00 or 06:00 on Friday and Saturday, and a ticket often costs €10–20. The night trams run about every 40 minutes, so plan how you get home.
We ranked clubs on five things: sound, crowd, door, late licence and value. Sound means a room built for the music, which in Zagreb often means a former factory. Crowd means people who came for the night rather than the photo. Door means you can predict what it costs and whether you get in. Late licence means a 05:00 or 06:00 finish. Value compares the ticket with the booking. Every club here has Resident Advisor, Entrio or official listings dated 2026, and every price, time and address comes from those listings or from the venue's own site. We do not sell tickets ourselves.
Our top pick for techno: a large concrete dancefloor in the former Katran factory, built for the music, with a published €15 ticket and a night that ran 23:00 to 06:00. Resident Advisor lists RY96 on 17 October, Gina Demarchi on 24 October and For Division XXI on 30 October 2026. Skip it if you want a polished room, table service or a short walk from the bars.
Headline bookings land here: Chris Liebing on 16 October, Deep Dish on 21 November and Pan-Pot on 19 December 2026, in a room for about 1,500 people. Ticket prices follow the act, and the Liebing night runs 23:00 to 05:00. Skip it if you want a small, intimate room.
A wide booking list: Missed Connection techno and trance on 16 October 2026, Mathew Jonson on 23 October, and the Discoton disco nights with names such as Todd Terje and Dimitri From Paris. Friday sessions run 23:00 to 05:00, and presale tickets sell on Entrio. Skip it if you want one fixed sound every weekend.
A loft with wooden floors next to the Maksimir tennis centre, with a bar built like a tree house and music from deep house and dub to techno. Resident Advisor lists nights on 16, 17, 23 and 31 October 2026, and a March night ran 23:59 to 06:30 for €10. Skip it if you want a central location: Maksimir is outside the old town.
A Jarun lakeside club open since 1992, with two floors and room for about 2,000, according to Time Out. The U/OFFU techno and bass night ran 23:00 to 06:00 on 2 October 2026. Skip it if you want to hop between bars: Jarun is a lake park, not a nightlife street.
Zagreb's alternative home near the Sava, run by the URK association, with darkwave, metal, indie nights and the occasional techno party, from free entry to €20. The capacity is about 600, and the bar is open daily from 17:00 to 00:00 with or without an event. Skip it if you want a polished room or mainstream music.
A club on Jabukovac that took over from Jabuka, with concerts, DJ nights and a terrace. It has some of the cheapest tickets on this list: most nights are €8 presale and €10 on the day, and students with an X-ica pay less, from €6. Skip it if you want a fixed genre, because the October 2026 programme runs from metal to techno.
A non-profit cultural centre with a courtyard painted by street artists, a café-bar and the Attack concert room, mixing punk, dub and electronic nights. Obeka on 23 October 2026 is listed from 22:00 to 04:00, with tickets at €12 in advance. Skip it if you want bottle service or a dress code.
The venue for touring bands, with a large hall and a smaller one and a programme that includes Ki Klop on 30 October, Clan of Xymox on 13 November and Suede on 17 November 2026. It is a concert venue first and a club second. Skip it if you want to dance until dawn.
A former button factory on Savska cesta with three industrial-style areas, hosting concerts, dance nights and stand-up. A KSET50 gig cost €13 in advance and €16 at the door, and the calendar has a Halloween Bash on 31 October. Skip it if you want one consistent music policy.
Pick one cluster per night. Boogaloo, Peti Kupe, Klub Močvara and Vintage Industrial Bar are all south of the centre, so you can read the listings and decide on the day. Klub Dva Osam is up the hill on Jabukovac, and Funk Club, a stone-vaulted basement on Tkalčićeva, is a natural warm-up. AKC Medika and Tvornica Kulture are in the Lower Town. Aquarius and Masters are destinations: Aquarius on the Jarun lakeside, Masters beside the tennis courts in Maksimir.
Getting around is the hard part. Four night tram lines, 31 to 34, run about every 40 minutes, with a €1.99 night ticket, and Trg bana Jelačića is served by 31, 32 and 34. After a 05:00 or 06:00 finish, Bolt or Uber is simpler.
Zagreb rewards a plan. Decide whether you want techno, gigs or the alternative scene, buy presale tickets where they exist and check the listing for the night you are in town. Our top pick is Depo, a concrete techno room in the former Katran factory, with nights that run to 06:00 and a €15 ticket for Insolate All Night in October 2026. For headliners, Boogaloo books names such as Chris Liebing, Deep Dish and Pan-Pot.
Between 04:00 and 06:30 on the nights we checked: AKC Medika at 04:00, Peti Kupe and Boogaloo at 05:00, Depo and Aquarius at 06:00 and Masters at 06:30. Doors open around 23:00.
Usually €10–20. Recent tickets include €15 at Depo, €12 in advance at AKC Medika, €10 at Masters, €8 in advance at Klub Dva Osam (from €6 with a student X-ica) and €15–20 for Chris Liebing at Boogaloo.
Mostly south of the old town: Boogaloo, Peti Kupe, Klub Močvara, Vintage Industrial Bar and Depo are around Savska and Trnje, with Aquarius on Jarun lake and Masters in Maksimir. The central option is Funk Club, a basement on Tkalčićeva.
Yes. Lines 31, 32, 33 and 34 run after the day network stops, about every 40 minutes. A night ticket costs €1.99, and Bolt and Uber also operate in the city.
