The 10 best clubs in Tbilisi, ranked: Bassiani, KHIDI, Mtkvarze, Left Bank and more, with entry prices in lari, closing times and what each door wants.
The best clubs in Tbilisi are a small group of rooms with strict doors, late finishes and a loyal local crowd. Bassiani, in the drained swimming pool under Dinamo Arena, and KHIDI, built into the riverbank beneath a bridge, open at 23:59 and run until late morning or the afternoon. Mtkvarze and Left Bank sit close by on the Mtkvari, and the rest of the scene is smaller: Meteor Studio and Dedaena Bar in Chugureti, L'ado in the Old Town and Sabagiro out in Saburtalo.
This list ranks ten places and says plainly where each one falls short. Every entry gives the price in lari with a euro equivalent, the closing time, the age limit and what the door expects. The basics first: a club night costs about ₾30–50 (€10–17), the metro stops around midnight, and photos are banned at the biggest rooms. Calendars are event-based, so check the venue's listing for the date before you set off.
We ranked clubs on five things: sound, crowd, door, late licence and value. Sound means a room and a system built for dancing. Crowd means people who came for the music. Door means you can predict if you will get in, including age rules that change by night. Late licence means a finish well after dawn. Value compares the ticket with what it buys. Every club here has 2026 listings or an official page, and prices, times and addresses come from the venue's own channels, Resident Advisor or published guides. Tbilisi has few clubs, so tenth place goes to Fabrika, a courtyard of bars rather than a club, where a Chugureti night can start. We do not sell tickets ourselves.
Georgia's largest techno club fills the old swimming pool under Dinamo Arena and holds about 1,200 people. A smaller second room, Horoom, hosts queer nights, and the line-ups mix international names with Georgian residents. Friday and Saturday nights run from 23:59 to 12:00. Skip it if you need certainty at the door or want to film the night: tickets are for registered members and recording is banned.
KHIDI is built into the right embankment under the Vakhushti Bagrationi Bridge, with a main floor, an upstairs room called G2 and an open-air yard. G2 Saturdays run from 23:59 to 11:00, and Switch Floors nights have run to 16:00. Tickets come in rising tiers, so booking early saves money. Skip it if you want to be home by four or need a club every weekend: the calendar is not weekly.
Two rooms in a former Soviet fish restaurant on the left bank of the Mtkvari, with a wraparound balcony over the water. It opened in 2012 and the door is ₾15 before midnight. The sound is house and techno, and queer one-offs such as The Saturnalia run alongside the regular nights. Skip it if you arrive late on a tight budget: after midnight the ticket is ₾40.
Left Bank celebrates its fifth anniversary weekend on 16 and 17 October 2026. Doors open at 21:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, selectors play in the indoor room before midnight, and the clubnight then moves to a courtyard with its own booth. Saturdays are free; the Friday Clubnight was ₾30 in October. Skip it if you want a warehouse rave: Resident Advisor reports that the warehouse floor, Space Two, closed in February 2026.
A former cable car station in the Lisi area of Saburtalo, with music, art and community as its focus. PHASE is the regular club night: PHASE012 is listed for Saturday 17 October from 23:00 to 08:00, free before 23:59 and ₾30 after. The listing says face control applies. Skip it if you want a short ride home: it is north-west of the centre and the venue gives no public-transport directions.
A small club on Kosta Khetagurov Street in Chugureti with numbered MTR selector nights on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, plus a Sunday open-deck session and guest nights. The September door was ₾15 before midnight and ₾30 after. Skip it if you want a twelve-hour session: it closes at 05:00, well before Bassiani or KHIDI.
A bar and party space on Lado Gudiashvili Square with a courtyard, a terrace and several rooms. The YesYesYes series starts in the courtyard at 16:00 and moves indoors after dark; the 19 September edition cost ₾15 and ran until 04:30. The music is house and disco. Skip it if you want techno: this room sits between a bar and a club.
A bar in Dedaena Park that hosts Dila Radio's weekly party every Thursday: disco and house from 22:00 to 02:00, with free entry. Guidebooks describe a young, skater-leaning crowd and a gay-friendly bar. It is the easiest cheap start to a weekend. Skip it if you want a late finish: it closes at 02:00.
A café, art space and bar on Rustaveli Avenue that becomes a club on some weekend nights. Resident Advisor lists a Blue Balls night on Saturday 17 October from 23:59 to 09:00, 18+, with house and electro. Police raided it and Bassiani in May 2018. Skip it if you want a dedicated club room or a regular schedule: club listings are rare in 2026 and the café layout stays.
Fabrika is a former Soviet sewing factory in Chugureti, now a cultural centre with cafés and bars, studios, shops and a hostel around an open courtyard. It earns tenth place as the start of a Chugureti night rather than as a club: it hosts one-off events, markets and exhibitions, and Meteor Studio and Dedaena Bar are in the same district. Skip it if you want a dance floor: this is bars and a courtyard.
Pick one cluster per night. Chugureti has the most to move between: Fabrika's courtyard, Dedaena Bar on Thursdays, Meteor Studio and Left Bank are all in the same district. Bassiani stands alone at Dinamo Arena, KHIDI and Mtkvarze are on the river, and Sabagiro is in Saburtalo, so treat each of those as a whole night rather than a stop.
Getting around is the hard part. The metro runs from about 06:00 to midnight and costs ₾1 for 90 minutes, while the big clubs open at 23:59. Plan to ride in by Bolt and to leave in daylight. If you take a street taxi, agree the fare before you get in. Carry your passport: most doors in this list check age, and some are 21+.
Tbilisi rewards a plan. Decide which scene you want, register for Bassiani before you travel and bring ID to every door. Bassiani, the largest techno club in Georgia. Its main room is the drained swimming pool under Dinamo Arena, it holds about 1,200 people, and Friday and Saturday nights run from 23:59 to 12:00. Tickets are for registered members.
There is no fixed time. Bassiani closes at 12:00, KHIDI at 11:00 on a G2 Saturday and at 16:00 on a Switch Floors night, Mtkvarze at 09:00, Left Bank and Sabagiro at 08:00 and Meteor Studio at 05:00.
Usually ₾15–50 (€5–17), with some free nights. Recent prices include ₾22 to ₾112 at Bassiani, ₾30 to ₾50 on KHIDI's G2 nights, ₾15 before midnight and ₾40 after at Mtkvarze, and free Saturdays at Left Bank.
It can be. Tickets go to registered members, everyone is searched, recording is banned and the door can refuse entry without giving a reason. Come in a small group, sober, with your passport.
No. Georgia has strict drug laws, tightened in 2025: sale can carry 12 to 20 years or life, and cannabis possession above 5 g of dried material can bring up to six years in prison. Clubs search guests at the door and police can demand a drug test. Leave anything illegal at home. Our Tbilisi nightlife guide sets out the penalties.
