Do the trains run late enough for a club night in Osaka?

No. Osaka Tourism puts the subway at about 05:00 to about midnight, with some last departures just after midnight. Nights that open at 23:00, such as Circus and Blvck Water, are planned around the gap: take a taxi (a 20% surcharge applies after 22:00) or wait for the first trains.

How much does a club night in Osaka cost?

Door prices seen for 22 October to 6 November 2026 run from ¥1,500 at Teranoma Tidepool to ¥4,000 at Joule, with Circus at ¥2,000 to ¥3,000 and Blvck Water at ¥2,300 to ¥3,000. Several include or require one drink. Osaka Tourism advises paying cash at the door.

How are these clubs ranked, and what do the licence rules say?

The order weighs sound, crowd, door, late licence and value. Joule leads on scale and bookings, Circus on techno programming, and Blvck Water on a 07:00 finish at ¥2,300 to ¥3,000. Dancing clubs operate under Japan's Fueiho: a 2016 revision created a specified licence for clubs that serve alcohol, and the May 2025 amendment, in force from June 2025, targets host clubs and raises penalties for unlicensed operation to up to five years or ¥10 million. No 2026 change specific to dance clubs was found.
