Ibiza nightlife by neighbourhood: where to go out

Ibiza nightlife by neighbourhood: which area suits your night, from the Playa d'en Bossa superclubs and Sant Antoni sunsets to Ibiza Town, Sant Rafel and Santa Eulària.

9 min read

Ibiza nightlife is spread across five areas, and each one suits a different night. Playa d'en Bossa has the superclubs Hï and Ushuaïa, with DC-10 by the airport. Sant Antoni has the sunset bars and two cheaper clubs on the bay. Ibiza Town and the Marina have Pacha, the cabaret clubs and the old-town bars. Sant Rafel, on the road between them, has Amnesia and [UNVRS]. Santa Eulària, on the east coast, is quieter and keeps going in winter.

Pick the area by the night you want, then plan the trip home: the Discobus runs from June to September, and taxis queue at closing time. This guide covers what each area is like, where to go and who it suits.

How we picked

Playa d'en Bossa: the superclub strip

Playa d'en Bossa is the long beach just south of Ibiza Town, and it is where the island's biggest clubs face each other. Ushuaïa is a hotel with an open-air pool stage for up to 7,866 people, and its parties run from 17:00 to 23:00 with Calvin Harris, David Guetta and ANTS. Across the road, Hï Ibiza picks up at 23:30 and runs to about 06:30, with two main rooms and a residency every night. DJ Mag readers voted it the world's best club from 2022 to 2025.

A few minutes away, at the end of the airport runway, DC-10 holds about 1,500 people for Circoloco on Mondays and Solid Grooves on Thursdays. It is the island's underground room, with a terrace, a main room and a garden instead of a stage show. Before the clubs, two restaurant bars take cocktails seriously: Pisco Bar at COYA and AISH at StreetXO.

Discobus D3 links Sant Antoni with DC-10, Ushuaïa and Hï for €4–5.60, and D2 runs between Playa d'en Bossa, Ibiza Town and Pacha. A taxi to Ibiza Town costs about €16. Playa d'en Bossa suits people who came for the big names and want to walk from the hotel to the club. Not for you if you want a quiet beach or cheap drinks.

Sant Antoni: sunsets and the West End

Sant Antoni, on the west coast, is where the island watches the sun go down. On the Sunset Strip, Café del Mar has served sunset drinks since 1980 with no entry fee, open 17:00–01:00 until the end of October. Café Mambo, founded in 1994, runs DJ sets from 10:00 to 03:00 on the same street. For a quieter cocktail in town, Pinguin is a small independent bar, and La Santa holds a Solete from the Guía Repsol.

On the bay, two clubs stand side by side. Eden, open since 1999, plays trance, UK garage and hard techno from 23:45 to 06:00 at €30–40, and it also runs parties in winter. Es Paradis, here since the mid-1970s, has a retractable pyramid roof and the Fiesta del Agua water party, with most nights at €25. By day, the pool parties at Ibiza Rocks Hotel, ten minutes on foot from the bus station, draw the same crowd; its 2026 season ended in late September.

Both clubs are a 5–10 minute walk from the Sant Antoni bus station. Discobus D1 runs from here to [UNVRS], Amnesia, Pacha and Ibiza Town, and D3 goes to DC-10 and Playa d'en Bossa. A taxi to Ibiza Town costs €25–32, and in high season the taxi queue can take over an hour. Sant Antoni suits groups, first-timers and anyone watching the budget. Not for you if you want a polished crowd or a quiet street at 02:00.

Ibiza Town & Marina: Pacha, cabaret and the old town

Ibiza Town, or Eivissa, is the capital, with the walls of Dalt Vila above the port and the Marina along the waterfront. Pacha, open since 1973 in a former finca, is a 10–15 minute walk from the centre. It runs from 23:00 to 06:00, and its 2026 week included Solomun +1, Music On and Robin Schulz, at €30–125.

The Marina has the island's dinner-and-show clubs. Lío serves dinner from about 20:30, runs its cabaret show until 01:00 and then turns into a club until 06:00, with entry from €40 and the strictest dress code on the island. Chinois, open since 2022, borrows from 1920s Shanghai cabaret and books Defected, Claptone and La Troya at €25–55.

For a first drink, UP at The Standard is a rooftop facing Dalt Vila, open from 10:00 to midnight and 18+. In the old town, Mystic Bar on Calle de la Virgen has a cave-like interior, and 1805 serves absinthe in the style of a Parisian bar. Teatro Pereyra, a theatre from 1898, is open all year from Monday to Saturday, 20:30–03:30, with free live music at Café Pereyra.

You can walk between almost everything here, and Discobus D1 and D2 both stop at Pacha. A taxi to Playa d'en Bossa costs about €16. Ibiza Town suits couples, dinner-first nights and anyone who wants a town as well as a club. Not for you on a tight budget: dinner shows and Marina tables add up fast.

Sant Rafel: two giants on the island road

Sant Rafel is a small village on the road between Ibiza Town and Sant Antoni, and it is home to two of the island's biggest clubs. Amnesia opened in May 1976 and turned fifty in 2026. It holds 5,000 people in the Main Room and the Terrace, with nights from Pyramid to Glitterbox at €30–80, and its 50th Closing Festival starts at 17:00 on 10 October.

A short distance away is [UNVRS], opened in 2025 on the site of Privilege, which was once in the Guinness book as the world's largest club. Three connected rooms sit under the old geodesic dome, and panels on the north wall open at sunrise. The 2026 week ran from Armin van Buuren on Monday to Carl Cox on Sunday, at €45–125.

Discobus D1 stops at both clubs on its way between Sant Antoni and Ibiza Town, [UNVRS] ticket holders get a free one-way shuttle from 22:45, and a taxi from Sant Antoni or Ibiza Town costs €11–16. The village itself is quiet; El Clo, a courtyard cocktail bar, is the place for a drink beforehand. Sant Rafel suits people who plan the night around one big booking. Not for you if you want to bar-hop: there is little to walk to.

Santa Eulària: the quiet east, open all year

Santa Eulària des Riu is the town on the east coast, and its nightlife is slower: bars on the marina, restaurants and very little dancing. Liquido on the marina has more than 100 cocktails and a Motown and Northern Soul soundtrack until 03:00, and it takes cash only. Mr Freddy and Soul Good are two more cocktail stops on this side of the island.

North of the town, at Las Dalias on the Sant Carles road, Akasha holds 300 people. Its 2026 nights included Hernán Cattáneo and Sven Väth's T.R.A.N.C.E at €10–25, and it stays open off season from Friday to Sunday, 23:00–06:00. Las Dalias itself has been running since 1954 and holds night markets in season.

Discobus D4 links Ibiza Town with Santa Eulària and Es Canar from June to September. A taxi from Santa Eulària to Akasha costs €11–16, and from Ibiza Town €32–37. Santa Eulària suits winter visitors, couples and anyone who wants a drink rather than a rave. Not for you if you want the superclubs: they are all on the other side of the island.

Where to stay

Choose your base by the clubs you want. Playa d'en Bossa puts you within walking distance of Hï and Ushuaïa and a short ride from DC-10. Sant Antoni has the sunset bars, two clubs on the bay, and the starting point of Discobus lines D1 and D3. Ibiza Town is the best all-rounder: Pacha on foot, the Marina clubs, restaurants and the port, with buses to both club areas. Santa Eulària is for a quieter trip, or for winter.
