Café Mambo was founded in 1994 by Javier Anadón as a small bar on the rocks of Sant Antoni, and it grew by word of mouth into one of the island's best-known sunset spots. It sits on Calle Vara de Rey, on the same stretch as Café del Mar, and the day runs from breakfast DJ sets at 10:00 through the sunset sessions and on until 03:00.
Tables at sunset are the hard part: book direct through the bar's own website. The food menu is ordered by QR code at the table. It works well as the first stop before a night at Eden or Es Paradis on the bay. Not for you if you want a dark bar: this is a terrace with a view and a crowd to match.
