The 10 best clubs in The Hague, ranked: PIP, Paard, Laak, The Grey Space and more, with entry prices, closing times and how to get home on the night bus.
The best clubs in The Hague are split across three parts of the city, and each one does a different night. The serious electronic music is on the edges: PIP on the BINK36 site in Binckhorst and Laak behind metal gates on Lulofstraat, where nights run to 06:00 and beyond. The centre is for parties: Paard's themed nights on Prinsegracht, free hits at Paardcafé and Danzig, and three rooms of disco at Club Joli until 05:00. In summer, Scheveningen adds day parties on the beach.
This list covers all three. Each entry gives you the entry price where it is published, the closing time, what the door wants and one honest reason to skip it. The basics: centre clubs open at 23:00 and close at 04:00 or 05:00, PIP runs from 23:59 to 06:00, and the night buses only run on Friday and Saturday.
We ranked clubs on five things: sound, crowd, door, late licence and value. Sound means a room built for dancing rather than talking. Crowd means people who came for the music or the party, not for a photo. Door means you can predict whether you get in, including age rules and payment. Late licence means a finish at 04:00 or later in the city, and a full afternoon and evening on the beach. Value compares the ticket with the night. Every club here has events or official listings from 2025 or 2026, and every price, time and address comes from the venue, The Hague's tourist board or Resident Advisor. We do not sell tickets ourselves.
The Hague's most serious club: three spaces on the BINK36 site, techno, electro and house from 23:59 to 06:00, and bookings that run up to a PIP x Tresor night in December. It is within walking distance of Den Haag Centraal and the tickets are cheap for what you get. Skip it if you want to turn up on any weekend: it runs on dates.
The Hague's pop venue since 1972 turns its halls into 18+ party nights from 23:30, from 90s and 00s hits to Afrobeats, Latin and emo. The main hall holds 1,100 people, and a party ticket costs around €10. Skip it if you want a DJ you have heard of: the theme is the point here.
A limited-capacity club at the end of an alley on Lulofstraat, with a professional sound system and nights that run long: Club Night x Rewire went from 23:00 to 09:00. The programming leans to techno and leftfield electronics. Skip it if you want a big room or a weekly night you can rely on.
A gallery by day and a club by night on Paviljoensgracht, with one DJ playing all night in the basement while upstairs stays calm, with drinks and board games. A September 2026 night cost €3.50, one of the cheapest nights out in the centre. Skip it if you want a late finish: that night ended at 02:00.
Three rooms under disco balls on Kettingstraat, playing disco, hits, classics and house until 05:00 on Friday and Saturday, one of the later finishes in the centre. It is the easiest choice for a group that wants to dance without planning. Skip it if you want underground music.
The music café next to Paard opens from 20:00 to 04:00 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with DJ nights, new bands and usually no charge at the door. Thursday's Club Pony plays hits all night. Skip it if you want a proper club room: it is a café of about 200 people that dances.
Danzig reopened on Lange Houtstraat with a renewed interior, and the tourist board calls it the best-looking club in The Hague. It plays party hits from 23:00 to 04:00, Thursday to Saturday, with free entry. Skip it if you care who is playing.
Pianists on fire-engine-red pianos play rock, pop and hits on the Scheveningen boulevard, with dance floors, cocktail bars and a heated terrace. It runs all year and stays open until 04:00 on Saturday, later than the other beach venues in this list. Skip it if you want DJs: the pianos are the show.
A year-round beach house on Strand Noord with a DJ booth, and every so often a serious day party: Gerd Janson b2b Marcel Dettmann played from 15:00 to 23:00 on 4 October 2026, for €30. Skip it if you want a club every weekend: most days it is a restaurant and bar.
A beach club at Zwarte Pad where loungers by day give way to DJs and bands in the evening, and the day turns into a club night. Several trams and buses end at Zwarte Pad, so it is easy to reach. Skip it outside the summer: it opens in beach season, weather permitting, and closes at 23:00.
Pick one part of the city per night. Paard, Paardcafé and The Grey Space are all a short walk from the Grote Markt tram stop, and Danzig is just off Plein, with Club Joli in the same old centre, so the centre works as one long night that starts in the Grote Markt bars and ends at 04:00 or 05:00. PIP is within walking distance of Den Haag Centraal, which makes it easy to reach and easy to leave. Laak is a destination night: buy the ticket, go for the line-up and stay. Scheveningen is fifteen minutes by tram, and the trams to the beach run until about midnight.
Getting home is the weak point. There are no night trams. On Friday and Saturday the six night buses leave Centraal Station/Rijnstraat between 01:00 and 05:00, once every two hours per line, for €6.50.
The Hague rewards a little planning. Check the PIP and Laak calendars a week ahead, bring a bank card for PIP's PIN-only bar, and decide how you are getting home before the last tram goes. For closing times, prices and the night bus in one place, read our The Hague nightlife guide. If you are still choosing where to start the night, the guide to The Hague nightlife by neighbourhood breaks the city down area by area, from the Grote Markt to Scheveningen. Ready to book? For electronic music, PIP on Binckhorstlaan: three spaces, techno and electro from 23:59 to 06:00 and tickets at €10–18. For a big party night, Paard on Prinsegracht, whose main hall holds 1,100 people.
Danzig and Paardcafé close at 04:00, Club Joli at 05:00 on Friday and Saturday and PIP at 06:00. Some nights at Laak run until 09:00 or 10:00.
At PIP on the BINK36 site in Binckhorst and at Laak on Lulofstraat. Both run on set dates, so check their calendars, and PIP has a PIP x Tresor night on 12 December 2026.
Danzig and Paardcafé are free. Expect €10–18 at PIP, around €15–17.50 at Laak and about €10 for a party night at Paard. Beach day parties cost around €30.
On Friday and Saturday nights, take a night bus (N1 to N6) from Centraal Station/Rijnstraat for €6.50, paid by contactless bank card or the HTM app. On other nights there is no night service, so cycle or take a taxi.
