The 10 best clubs in Stockholm, ranked: Under Bron, Berns, Slakthuset, Södra Teatern and more, with entry prices, age limits, closing times and how to get home.
The best clubs in Stockholm are spread across three parts of the city, and each one runs a different night. On Södermalm, Under Bron sits under the Skanstull bridge and runs until 05:00, Södra Teatern turns a theatre from 1859 into a weekend club, and in summer Trädgården opens outdoors under the same bridge. Stureplan has the polished rooms with 23+ and 25+ doors, from Spy Bar to Sturecompagniet, and Berns runs the techno room NEU on Berzelii Park. South of the centre, Slakthuset and Fållan fill the old slaughterhouse buildings by Globen.
This list covers all three. Each entry gives the entry price where it is published, the closing time, the age limit and one honest reason to skip it. The basics first: most doors cost 100–195 kr, most clubs close at 03:00 and a few at 05:00, and the metro runs all night on Friday and Saturday.
We ranked clubs on five things: sound, crowd, door, late licence and value. Sound means a room built for music, from NEU's system to Club Soul's vinyl. Crowd means people who came for the night rather than the photo. Door means you can predict how to get in, from a pay-at-the-door 21+ night to a 25+ guest list. Late licence means nights that run past 03:00. Value compares the price with what you get. Every club here has opening hours or events dated 2026, and every price, age limit and address comes from the venue's own pages or official listings. We do not sell tickets ourselves.
The most dependable weekend club in the city: several floors under the Skanstull bridge, a music policy from dancehall to techno and house, and a 05:00 close on Friday and Saturday. Entry climbs from free before 23:00 to 175 kr after midnight, which rewards an early start. Skip it if you want a polished room or are under 21.
Two clubs in one historic house on Berzelii Park: LE!, the open-format main room, and NEU, a 300-capacity techno room with a sound system built for 1,000 people. Both run on Friday and Saturday, NEU until 05:00, which makes this the latest serious music night in the centre. Skip it if you are under 23 or will not plan ahead for the guest list.
A former slaughterhouse with three floors and room for 950, and the anchor of the old meatpacking district. The programme swings from 2000s hits with techno in room 2 to house bookings such as Djuma Soundsystem, and some nights are free with a registered ticket. Skip it if you want one clear sound or a late finish: it closes at 03:00.
A theatre since 1859 that becomes a club across several rooms on Friday and Saturday, with gigs in Kägelbanan earlier in the evening. It is the best all-round night on Södermalm: a band, a drink in the Champagne Bar and a dance floor under one roof, for 195 kr including the cloakroom. Skip it if you are under 21 or want to stay out past 03:00.
Its owners call it perhaps Sweden's best-known nightclub, and it is the reference point for a Stureplan night: guest DJs, tables and a 05:00 close from Thursday to Saturday. Book a table or get on the guest list rather than trying your luck at the door. Skip it if you are under 25 or want a room built around the music.
The open-air club under the Skanstull bridge is one of the city's most popular summer nights: several dance floors, table tennis, pétanque and a Live Sessions programme that brought Caribou and Icona Pop in 2026. It ranks below Under Bron only because it is closed for half the year. Skip it if you are visiting between October and April.
Club Soul has filled Fasching's floor every Saturday since 1993: soul, disco, funk and rare grooves, all on vinyl, from 23:30 to 04:00. At 50 kr plus the cloakroom it is the cheapest good night on this list, and one of the few 18+ doors. Skip it if you want house or techno, or a night out on a Friday.
One of Stockholm's traditional clubs, set in turn-of-the-century rooms with a very high ceiling. Atrium on the ground floor mixes techno and house from Thursday to Saturday, with the Magnumbar as a quieter lounge. Skip it if you are under 23 or want a scruffy, underground room.
Fållan moved into the renovated slaughterhouse halls of 1912 by Globen in 2024, and it uses them for gigs, club nights and small festivals, such as a Toy Tonics Jam in October 2026. With room for more than 2,000, it is where the bigger club nights land. Skip it if you want to walk in on any Friday: everything here runs event by event.
A schlager bar on Kungsholmen since 1994, and the most Swedish night on this list: the big pop classics all night, a small room that becomes a dance floor, and free entry from Tuesday to Thursday. It earns its place by opening five nights a week until 03:00. Skip it if you want DJs who play anything newer than the chorus everyone knows.
Pick one area per night. Stureplan is the easiest to walk: Spy Bar, Sturecompagniet and Hell's Kitchen are a few steps apart, and Berns is about ten minutes away on foot. On Södermalm, start with a gig at Södra Teatern above Slussen, then ride the green line two stops south to Skanstull for Under Bron, which runs two hours longer. Slakthuset and Fållan sit a few minutes apart by Globen station, so a gig at one can end on the dance floor at the other.
Getting around is simple at the weekend. The metro runs all night on Friday and Saturday, so Skanstull, Slussen, Östermalmstorg and Globen all work at 04:00. A single ticket costs 43 kr and lasts 75 minutes; tap a contactless card at the gate. On weeknights the trains stop at about 01:00 and night buses take over.
Stockholm rewards a little planning. Check the age limit for the night you want, get on the guest list where it helps, and use the all-night weekend metro rather than a taxi. For closing times, prices and transport in one place, read our Stockholm nightlife guide. If you are choosing where to drink before the club, our guide to Stockholm nightlife by neighbourhood covers the city area by area, from Södermalm to Slakthusområdet. Ready to go? Under Bron for a weekend night that runs until 05:00, NEU at Berns for techno, and Spy Bar for the classic Stureplan night. In summer, Trädgården is the open-air pick.
Most close at 03:00. Under Bron, Spy Bar, Hell's Kitchen and NEU at Berns run until 05:00, and Club Soul at Fasching until 04:00.
Each club sets its own: 21+ at Under Bron, 23+ at Berns, Sturecompagniet and Södra Teatern, and 25+ at Spy Bar. Club Soul at Fasching is 18+.
Usually 100–195 kr (€9–17). Under Bron is free before 23:00 and 175 kr after midnight, Södra Teatern is 195 kr with the cloakroom included, and Club Soul is 50 kr.
NEU at Berns in the centre, Under Bron on Södermalm, and Slakthuset and Fållan in Slakthusområdet by Globen, where room 2 and the bigger club nights lean electronic.
