The 10 best clubs in Brno, ranked: Fléda, pul.pit, Sono Music Club and more, with ticket prices, closing times, door rules and how to get home by night bus.
The best clubs in Brno are mostly concert halls that turn into dance floors once the last band has left the stage. Fléda on Štefánikova street runs gigs and drum and bass nights, Sono Music Club is listed for about 900 people, and Melodka and Klub Alterna book rock, metal and alternative acts through the autumn. For a pure dance floor, pul.pit on Kapucínské náměstí has run techno nights until 06:00.
This list ranks ten rooms by sound, crowd, door, late licence and value. Each entry gives the closing time or the event rule, the price where one is published, and one honest reason to skip it. The basics: entry is paid per event, usually through GoOut or SMSticket, and a Fléda drum and bass night cost 399 Kč (about €16) in advance. Trams stop around 23:00, so the night bus from Hlavní nádraží decides when you leave.
We ranked clubs on five things: sound, crowd, door, late licence and value. Sound means a room built for live or electronic music. Crowd means people who came for the programme. Door means you can tell in advance how you get in, by presale ticket or at the door. Late licence means a finish after 03:00. Value compares a published ticket price with what the night offers. Every room here has event listings dated 2026 on GoOut, Songkick, Resident Advisor or its own site, and the prices, times and addresses come from those listings and the venues' own pages. We do not sell tickets ourselves.
Fléda is one of the main live rooms in Brno, with gigs most weeks and club nights in between. October 2026 brings Laibach on 15 October and HVOB on 16 October, and the drum and bass nights have booked UK guests. It ranks first for its programme and its ticketing: presale tickets are sold in advance, so you know what you pay. Skip it if you want a club that opens every night, because the calendar runs event by event.
pul.pit is the electronic room of the Old Town, on Kapucínské náměstí. Resident Advisor lists drum and bass and techno nights in October 2026, and a June 2024 techno night ran from 22:00 to 06:00, the latest published finish in this guide. Skip it if you want a seat and a cocktail: the nights are built around the line-up.
Sono is the largest concert room in this guide, listed for up to 900 people on several levels and known for its acoustics. The autumn 2026 calendar runs from Czech acts on 20 November to Alfa Mist on 29 November, and In Your Pocket also lists club and DJ nights. Skip it if you want a small late-night floor: the night follows the headliner.
GoOut calls it Brno's oldest club: it began as Metro Hall in 1937 and reopened after a reconstruction in September 2008. Google users describe a rock-leaning music bar with DJ sets, and In Your Pocket lists it open from 19:00 to 05:00, which makes it one of the latest rooms in the centre. Skip it if you want a quiet bar: the programme is loud.
The most student-leaning room on this list, with an almost nightly calendar of quizzes, karaoke, club nights and Raveween on 30 October 2026. Resident Advisor also lists the ERØZE hard techno rave here on 9 October. Skip it if you want a quiet drink: expect themed nights and a young crowd.
An independent club in Pisárky with roots in the Melodie Music Wine Bar of 1929, according to GoOut. October 2026 lists Der Weg einer Freiheit on 19 October and The Cloverhearts on 21 October. Skip it if you want house or techno: the programme leans to metal, punk and rock.
EXIT Club is a basement room in the House of the Lords of Lipá on Náměstí Svobody, for up to about 150 people. A venue profile describes an underground feel, good sound and a fully stocked bar, and Songkick lists a concert on 16 October 2026. Skip it if you want space to move: the room is compact.
A music club and cultural bar on Kounicova street. October 2026 lists concerts on seven dates, across alt-rock, post-punk, electronic, americana and indie, and the club runs the AlternaQuiz night. Tables can be reserved online. Skip it if you want a dance floor until dawn: the bands set the pace.
A club and pub on Štefánikova street with an almost daily programme of concerts by non-commercial acts, from jazz and blues to rock and alternative music. GoOut also lists theatre and readings. Skip it if you want DJs and a club crowd late: it suits live music with a beer.
A late 19th-century railway warehouse on Hybešova street, now a cultural space with a 520 m² main hall. Resident Advisor lists the EXIT Warehouse day rave on 10 October 2026. Skip it if you want a club that opens every week: events are listed one by one.
Pick one street per night. Fléda, Stará Pekárna and Artbar Druhý Pád are all on Štefánikova street, so you can change room without changing tram. In the Old Town centre you will find pul.pit, EXIT Club and Metro Music Bar. Sono, Klub Alterna and Melodka are gig destinations west and north-west of the centre, and Malá Amerika is by the main station.
Getting around is the hard part. Trams stop around 23:00. After that, all 11 night bus lines (N89 to N99) leave Hlavní nádraží together, every 30 minutes until 01:00 on weeknights, then hourly. On Friday and Saturday they run until 07:00. A 60-minute ticket costs 25 Kč (€1.00). For a taxi, book through an app such as Bolt.
Brno rewards a plan. Choose the night by the line-up, buy presale tickets for the bigger shows, and settle your way home before the last tram. Our top pick is Fléda on Štefánikova street, a concert hall and club with gigs, DJ nights and drum and bass. For a pure dance floor, pul.pit on Kapucínské náměstí is the electronic club in the Old Town.
It depends on the event. Metro Music Bar is listed open until 05:00, and a June 2024 techno night at pul.pit ran until 06:00. Gig venues close when the programme ends, so check each listing.
Entry is priced per event. A Fléda drum and bass night cost 399 Kč (€16) in advance and 500 Kč (€20) at the door, cash only. A bigger concert such as HVOB cost 850 Kč (€35) in presale.
pul.pit for techno and drum and bass, Artbar Druhý Pád for hard techno raves such as ERØZE on 9 October 2026, and Malá Amerika for occasional warehouse raves.
Trams stop around 23:00. Take one of the 11 night bus lines, N89 to N99, from Hlavní nádraží, or book a taxi in an app such as Bolt.
