XOYO opened in 2010 in a former print works on Cowper Street, a plain black room beside Old Street roundabout. It holds around 800 across two spaces, the Basement and The Jungle upstairs. After a two-month refurbishment it reopened on 31 January 2026 under independent ownership, with a recalibrated Void sound system and new lighting.
Saturday is the main night, with house and tech house next to UK party brands, and there is a queer dance party and midweek events on other nights. The crowd skews young. Not for you if you want a deep techno night; this is a broad Saturday-night club, and a busy one.
