WOMB is the club most visitors mean when they ask for techno in Shibuya. It stands on a backstreet in Maruyamacho, a short walk up Dogenzaka from the station, and opened in 2000. The main floor is an open atrium running from the 2nd to the 4th floor, and there are lounges, a Premium Lounge for table bookings and a VIP floor renovated in 2023.
Events run most nights from 23:00 to 04:30. October 2026 mixes techno and house nights with the weekday party WTW and the 25th anniversary of the Session series. Advance tickets cost around ¥3,000, with cheaper midweek nights and discounts for under-23s. Not for you if you want a small room: this is a large, four-floor club.
