Youth and music venue at Willemsplein 1 with punk and metal gigs, free W1 Café nights and late DJ nights, two minutes from the station.
Willemeen is a youth and culture venue on the Willemsplein, about two minutes on foot from Arnhem Centraal. The programme leans towards underground gigs: the October 2026 agenda lists oi, speed metal, post-hardcore and death metal shows, including Arnhem Death Fest on Saturday 24 October, plus free W1 Café gigs on Wednesdays.
Dance nights start late. DJ Jaman's Afrobeats, dancehall and amapiano night was listed for 23:59 on a Friday, and a Halloween edition of 'de roulatie' is listed for Thursday 29 October. Prices are set per event and some events are free. Not for you if you want a polished club: the programme is built for young people, and some workshops are aimed at ages 16 to 27.
Free or ticketed per event; check the programme for the age rule of each night.
