Werk 2

Werk 2 occupies the site of a former VEB factory for materials-testing machines, right at the Connewitzer Kreuz. It runs as a socio-cultural centre: workshops, studios and print rooms by day, and a programme in its halls that ranges from discos to concerts by international bands.

Halle A takes the bigger shows, such as EBOW on 15 October 2026, and Halle D the smaller gigs and parties like Dark Celebration, a dark-wave and gothic night that starts at 22:00. Concerts usually begin at 20:00. Not for you if you want a club that is open every weekend: this is an events venue, so check the calendar before you plan around it.
