Village 59

Village 59 is a bar-club at 59 quai des Chartrons, opened in November 2024 by three friends from Bordeaux. Le Bonbon calls it retro, festive and audacious, and the idea is a free, inclusive party without fuss. It celebrated its first birthday on 14 November 2025 with a 12-hour night that began at a partner bar at 18:00 and ended at dawn on the quay.

The music leans to dance and nostalgia, with 2000s themes and local DJs such as Godsoul and Melchior on the anniversary bill. Opening hours change with the programme, so check before you go. Tram B runs along the quai des Chartrons. Not for you if you want a techno line-up: this is a party bar built on hits and theme nights.
