Kwartier Latäng club on Luxemburger Straße for hip-hop, R&B and 2000s nights, in the old Rose Club where Nirvana played in 1989.
Veedel Club is on Luxemburger Straße, in what the tourist board calls the Bermuda Triangle of Kwartier Latäng, the student quarter. In the 1980s it was the Rose Club, and in 1989 a then-unknown Nirvana played here. The look today is industrial chic with lounge corners and a small dance floor, and the music is hip-hop, R&B, indie and pop.
Club nights start at 23:00, several nights a week. In October 2026 there is Radio Sabrosita on Thursdays at €0–7, a best-of-2000s night at €0–10, an old-school rap and R&B party and Hits Different at €12–15. Concerts start earlier, at 19:00 or 20:00. Trams 12, 15, 16 and 18 stop at Barbarossaplatz, about 300 metres away. Not for you if you want electronic music.
Easy door; some parties set their own age rule, such as 29+ nights.
