Valand

Valand has hosted parties on Vasagatan since 1886 and calls itself the city's party palace. The building has seven floors and room for more than 2,500 guests, and the nightclub sits under crystal chandeliers and large artworks. It also hosts fairs and gigs, with a tattoo fair and a Bill Stewart concert on the October 2026 calendar.

Club nights run on Friday and Saturday. Shows, stand-up and bands take the stage earlier, and DJs take over later, across two dance floors: one for the hits, one next to the rock bar. Bellmanhyllan, the VIP lounge, looks over the dance floor and Avenyn. Hours and age are not published, so check @klubbvaland for the guest list. Not for you if you want an underground room.
