Ultra Klubs, on place André Meunier dit Mureine on the Saint-Michel side of the centre, is listed by the tourist office as Bordeaux's largest gay-friendly nightclub. It opened in 2017, holds around 500 people and has a large dance floor, a VIP area and regular drag shows. The music moves between pop, reggaeton and electro, and in 2026 it added nights sold on Shotgun, such as Ultrascension in May with rap and R&B.
The tourist office lists it from Friday to Sunday, midnight to 07:00, with entry at €10 including a drink. The Sainte-Croix stop on tram C is about seven minutes away on foot. Organisers describe it as a space where acceptance of others is not negotiable. Not for you if you want a quiet drink: this is a full club night, and it starts at midnight.
