Midrand electronic club with five dance floors, listed Friday and Saturday nights to 03:00 and 06:00, and tickets from R150 up to R4,000.
Truth is a Midrand club that its own site calls a pioneering force in electronic music, and it is celebrating 27 years, with a history that starts in 1999. A February 2025 report on LSI Online calls it the Home of the Underground and a regional landmark, with five dance floors, and says the Terrace was completely rebuilt after a fire damaged part of the venue. It has hosted Paul van Dyk and Richie Hawtin, and Gauteng Tourism lists it as a favourite of serious party-goers. Time Out gives the address as 677 James Crescent, while Resident Advisor lists 0D Old Pretoria Road, both in Halfway House.
A June 2026 listing gives Friday 20:00 to 03:00, Saturday 20:00 to 06:00 and Sunday 14:00 to 00:00, with no Monday to Thursday opening, and the club also runs occasional Thursday nights: a deep house night on 5 February 2026 ran from 21:00 to 02:00 at R150 presale and R200 at the door. The autumn calendar has Halloween on 31 October with Tim Engelhardt, Huxley, FiNE and Seigg (R250 to R300), Mystika on 14 November (from R450), 27 Years of Truth on 28 November (R150) and Stay True Sounds Volume 3 on 5 December across four floors. Not for you if you need a late train: it is in Midrand and the Gautrain stops around 21:30.
No door policy or dress code is stated on the club's site; check the event page and the terms of use before you travel.
