Toffler opened in 2011 in an old pedestrian tunnel beneath the Weena, the office boulevard in front of Rotterdam Centraal. The DJ booth and back wall sit on a hydraulic system, so the room grows as the night fills up: tight at midnight, full length by two.
It reopened on 31 January 2026 after a refurbishment, with the moving booth kept and a no-phone policy on club nights. Programming is house and techno on Fridays and Saturdays from 23:00 to 05:00, often with all-night-long sets. The ceiling is low and the room is narrow. Not for you if you want space to move or somewhere to sit down.
No phones on the floor since the January 2026 reopening; small groups who know the line-up have the easiest time.
