Tlecān is a mezcal bar on Avenida Álvaro Obregón in Roma Norte, ranked fifth in North America's 50 Best Bars 2026 and third in 2025. Time Out México describes a mezcalería inspired by the pre-Hispanic era, serving spirits from different regions of Mexico. It is a good place to learn how agaves and regions change the taste before you move on.
Hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 18:00 to 01:00; it is closed on Sunday and Monday. A 2020 Time Out review put the average spend at about MXN 500 per person (about €24), so treat that as an old guide. Not for you if you want a dance floor or a late finish.
