Basement tiki bar on Bree Street: seven tiki cocktails, Wednesday Tiki-Oke karaoke, 20:00 to 21:00 happy hour, open Wednesday to Saturday to 02:00, 25+.
Tiki Tomb is a basement bar on Bree Street, reached through the wooden door to the left of BOMA on Bree, with 1930s tiki decor and an island-style bar. The cocktail list has seven tiki drinks, including the Zombie, Painkiller and Drunken Monkey, plus margaritas, and the kitchen serves pizzas, wings and nachos. DJs play hits from several decades, and Wednesday is Tiki-Oke karaoke from 20:00 with a new host each week and free shots for singers.
Cape Town Magazine lists Wednesday to Saturday, 20:00 to 02:00, with a happy hour from 20:00 to 21:00 of two-for-one beer, spirits and tiki shots; Time Out's March 2026 piece puts happy-hour drinks at R50. The age rule is the strictest of the bars here: Time Out says no under-25s are allowed after 22:00, and Cape Town Magazine calls it strictly 25+. Tables and the Chief's Hut or Hula Hut bottle-service areas, which hold up to 15 people, are booked on 021 109 0039. Not for you if you are under 25 and plan to arrive after 22:00.
Age rule: 25+ (Cape Town Magazine) or no under-25s after 22:00 (Time Out).
