Thunderbolt is a cocktail bar at 1263 West Temple Street where Filipinotown, Echo Park and Downtown meet, with an open-plan lobby, green walls and brown leather seating. Time Out calls it an award-winning casual cocktail bar known for tech-forward, zero-waste mixology, with a front patio and Southern-inspired bar bites from the team at The Park's Finest next door. North America's 50 Best Bars ranked it 8th in 2024 and 24th in 2025, and Time Out's October 2026 list notes it is no longer on that list. Cocktails average about $16, and the bar's site lists a Madeira menu, wine, beer, cider and spirits lists.
The bar's own site gives hours of 17:00 to 00:00 on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 17:00 to 01:00 on Friday and Saturday and 14:00 to 00:00 on Sunday, and shows Tuesday as closed.
