Early-1900s Parisian salon-style cocktail bar on Spring Street with a stained-glass ceiling, unusual ingredients and a weekly farm-to-glass special.
The Wolves is a cocktail bar at 519 South Spring Street in the Historic Core of Downtown Los Angeles. The bar describes itself as an early-1900s Parisian salon-style bar, and Time Out says the ceiling is made of stained-glass arches from an old train station, with antique lamps, sconces and art. The menu has specialty cocktails with unusual ingredients, a weekly farm-to-glass special and a bistro-style burger. The Infatuation's 2018 review praised a signature Old Fashioned made with 10-year scotch and house-made olive and aromatic bitters, and noted that bartenders use fire, smoke and spray bottles.
Hours in Time Out's list updated on 8 October 2026 are 17:00 to 00:00 on Monday, Thursday and Sunday and 17:00 to 02:00 on Friday and Saturday; no Tuesday or Wednesday hours are listed, so those days are shown as closed here. The bar is in the next block of Spring Street from Exchange LA at number 618, which makes it a pre-club stop. The Infatuation noted there was no standing room, so at busy times guests put their name down and wait.
No standing room: at busy times put your name down and wait (The Infatuation, 2018).
