Second-floor live music room and bar in Curtin House, open Tuesday to Saturday, with the bar open to 03:00 on weekdays and 05:00 at weekends.

The Toff in Town is on the second floor of Curtin House, the arts building on Swanston Street. A 2025 Beat guide calls it the last nightclub on Swanston Street after Lounge and Radar closed, and Broadsheet describes a dark, glamorous bar. Curtin House's own site lists it as open Tuesday to Saturday from 17:00 until late, with the bar and kitchen closing at 03:00 on weekdays and 05:00 at weekends.

Live bands and DJs share the programme. Beat lists the room as wheelchair accessible. The Rooftop Bar on level 7 is a separate venue in the same building, so you can start up there and finish here. Not for you if you want a large club floor: this is a bar with a stage.
