The Stockroom is a cocktail bar tucked away on the Oosterstraat, in a former stockroom, styled after the hidden bars of the 1920s and the drama series Peaky Blinders. You enter through an industrial warehouse front, and inside there is a bar, a lounge, a garden and a cellar for premium spirits and champagne.
The menu takes a no-nonsense classic approach to high-end cocktails, at €13 to €16.50 a drink. It opens Tuesday to Sunday, from 17:00 or 18:00, until 02:00 on Friday and Saturday. You can reserve by phone between 13:00 and 20:00, and bookings close at 21:00. Not for you if you want a cheap round: this is a sit-down, one-or-two-drinks stop.
