The Sound House at 28 Eden Quay, by O'Connell Bridge, has run gigs and club nights since 2017. Besides the main room it has the Penthouse, The Wiley Fox and The Terrace, a covered rooftop. Its club nights lean hard and fast: hardgroove, trance and techno at THISO, plus local parties such as Rathaus, now past its 39th edition, and KRONIK, alongside dancehall and Bollywood nights.
Club nights usually run 23:00 to 03:00, with the terrace closing at 01:00. Tickets are cheap by Dublin standards, from €8, with a limited number of early-entry tickets before midnight, and club nights are 18+. Not for you if you want big international names: this is a room for local promoters and their crowds.
