Shawlands venue that replaced The Shed in 2025, with a ballroom, an upstairs club room and a vinyl bar, open until 03:00 at weekends.
The Marlborough opened in February 2025 on Langside Avenue in Shawlands, in the building that housed The Shed nightclub for 26 years. The Monteleone Group restored it in art deco style and kept the chequered terrazzo floor that dates from the early 1900s. Inside are The Ballroom, an upstairs club room and B-Side, a vinyl bar where guests choose the records.
At opening, hours were 16:00–02:00 from Tuesday to Thursday and noon to 03:00 on Friday and Saturday. Club nights are 18+ with Challenge 25 at the door. The Shed: Again reunion on 18 September 2026 sold out at £16. Not for you if you want the city centre: it is a Southside local, a train or bus ride out.
