The Loft stands on the Lerchenfelder Gürtel near the U6 at Thaliastraße and stacks three venues on top of each other: a café on the ground floor, a bar on the first floor and a basement dance floor with a KV2 sound system. Between them they run concerts, poetry slams, open mics, film nights and club nights.
Friday and Saturday open from 20:00 to 04:00, and the rest of the week follows the programme. Doors are cheap: recent club nights cost between €6 and €18, and the Wednesday open night is free. Expect anything from electronic and hip hop to funk and indie. Not for you if you want a polished, single-genre club.
