The Gallimaufry has been a bar and restaurant at 26–28 Gloucester Road since 2012, and it is one of the reasons the street works as a night out. There is live music or a DJ most nights, from Monday's open mic to funk, folk and jazz bands midweek and DJ sets at the weekend, and entry is always free. Pizza comes from the Pizzucci kitchen.
Grrrl Crush, a queer club night, has its home here on Thursdays, and Fridays bring back-to-back DJ sessions. Daily opening hours are not published, so check before you go. Not for you if you want a proper club: this is a bar where the band plays in the corner.
