Stratumseind bar with DJs, jam sessions and music bingo, free entry and a 25+ door on Friday and Saturday, open until 04:00.
The Fat One is a bar on Stratumseind that is built for dancing, with DJs, live jam sessions under the name The Fat Jam and music bingo nights. It describes itself with three words, drink, dance, laugh, and the room leans a little smarter than the student cafés around it.
It is open from 19:00 on Wednesday until 02:00, and from Thursday to Saturday until 04:00. Entry is free. The door is the thing to know: 18+ on Wednesday and Thursday, but 25+ on Friday and Saturday, which makes it one of the few places on the street with an older weekend crowd. Not for you if you are under 25 and it is the weekend.
Free entry; 18+ on Wednesday and Thursday and 25+ on Friday and Saturday, so bring ID.
