The Clumsies opened in 2012 on Praxitelous, founded by the award-winning bartenders Nikos Bakoulis and Vasilis Kyritsis with three hospitality partners. It runs over several levels from morning to night under the motto 'perfect imperfection', and it reached number 4 in The World's 50 Best Bars in 2021.
Upstairs, The Room takes groups of six to ten, with a fireplace, a billiard table, records and personal cocktail service; it is booked through the website or by phone. The same founders are behind Line in Petralona. Not for you if you want a dance floor: this is a place to sit and drink well before the club.
