The Black Cat is a craft cocktail bar on the Kerkstraat in the city centre, with one of the most technical drinks lists in the city. The bar works with smoke, foams, infusions and fat-washing, and the menu mixes flavours from around the world with nostalgic favourites, under names such as Telenovela and Cereal Killer. There is a kitchen with dishes from around the world until 22:00 or 23:00.
It opens at 17:00 from Monday to Thursday, at 16:00 on Friday and at 14:00 at the weekend, and closes at midnight, or 02:00 on Friday and Saturday. Not for you if you want a cheap round: this is a slow-sip, one-or-two-drinks stop before the clubs.
