The Bar in Front of the Bar

The Bar in Front of the Bar began as a pop-up hiding the building work on its sister bar, Rumble in the Jungle, on pedestrian Petraki near Syntagma. It stayed. There is no indoor seating: you drink on the street, under a large digital sign that keeps changing its message for passers-by.

The founders, Alexandros Tselepis, Konstantinos Theodorakopoulos and Simeon Papanikolaou, run a zero-waste menu of rotating signature cocktails made from the sister bar's preparation scraps, alongside the classics. It was number 47 in The World's 50 Best Bars 2025. Not for you on a cold or wet night: everything happens outdoors.
