Teatro Kapital is a converted theatre at the bottom of Calle de Atocha, and with room for nearly 2,000 people it is the largest club in Madrid. Seven floors are stacked inside: the main room and the second floor are for dancing, the third is a cocktail bar, the fourth plays reggaeton and the fifth is karaoke. The top two floors belong to the Quintoelemento restaurant.
It opens Wednesday to Sunday at 23:00, closing at 05:30 on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and at 06:00 on Friday and Saturday. The door is 18+ with ID, and sportswear, swimwear and scruffy clothes are turned away. Tickets sell online and VIP tables are booked by WhatsApp. Not for you if you want an underground crowd: this is the big commercial night out.
