Sunny Beach is a small club on the Peperstraat, one of the two streets that make up the core of Groningen's night. DJs play a mix of current hits and classics several nights a week, there are weekly deals on cocktails, shots and pitchers of beer, and there is no entrance fee. The door is 18+.
It opens Tuesday and Wednesday from 22:30 to 04:00 and Thursday to Saturday from 22:00 to 05:00, and is closed on Sunday and Monday. There is a heated terrace and air conditioning inside, and the venue is wheelchair accessible. Not for you if you want a big sound system or a specialist line-up: it is a cosy party bar.
