Subterranean is a music venue at 2011 W North Avenue in Wicker Park, at the junction of North, Damen and Milwaukee Avenues. Its FAQ says the building dates to 1889, and a directory lists it in Wicker Park since 1994. It has three floors: the upstairs ballroom and main stage, a balcony, and Downstairs at Subterranean at ground level.
The calendar mixes concerts with club nights. Listings for October and November 2026 include a K-pop rave (17+, $17–23), Halloween Loading (21+, $17) on Saturday 24 October, Danny L Harle (17+, $25) on Friday 6 November, House Party (21+, $15) on Friday 13 November and Broadway Rave (17+, $20–23) on Friday 20 November. Each show is listed as All Ages, 17+ or 21+, and 17+ and 21+ shows need a valid government ID, physical or official digital; photos and screenshots are not accepted. Hours follow the show schedule. Tickets are sold through SeeTickets, and coat check is $4 upstairs at some shows. Not for you if you want a fixed weekly programme: the line-up changes with every show.
