Northern Quarter venue with bars upstairs and a basement club on a VOID system, open until 04:00 on Friday and Saturday.
Stage & Radio occupies 43 Port Street, an address that has hosted music since 1946, when it was Club 43 and Ronnie Scott played there. The current venue opened in 2016 across three spaces: a bar upstairs, The Attic on the top floor with table service, and a basement club for about 150 people on a VOID sound system. There is an outdoor terrace too.
It opens Wednesday to Sunday and runs until 04:00 on Friday and Saturday. The basement books techno, house, garage and electro, with residencies such as Big Tone Soundsystem. Port Street Beer House is a few doors down for a first drink. Not for you if you want a big room: the basement holds about 150 people.
Small basement with a relaxed door; arrive before 01:00 if a known DJ is playing.
