Single-room Hollywood club with a sunken dance floor, 21+ entry and ticketed house, tech house and techno nights from Thursday to Saturday.

Sound opened on New Year's Eve 2012 on Las Palmas Avenue, just off Hollywood Boulevard, under Muse Lifestyle Group. It is one 8,000 sq ft room with a sunken dancefloor, an elevated DJ booth, several full-service bars and 3D projection mapping. Time Out's 2017 profile described a custom Funktion-One sound system and a focus on the music rather than celebrity guests. Capacity is about 600 according to DJ Mag's figure, while Time Out gave 500.

The club books house, tech house and techno, with ticketed nights on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and the occasional Wednesday show. Autumn 2026 dates include X CLUB. on 23 October (sold out), Deep Dish on 30 October and a three-day Halloween pass. DJ Mag placed Sound 80th in 2024, 77th in 2025 and 86th in 2026. Doors usually open at 22:00, and a February 2024 Secret Los Angeles guide listed closing at 02:00 on Thursdays and 03:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, so confirm the time on the event page.   • Most nights sell through Dice links on the club calendar; check for sold-out dates such as X CLUB. on 23 October.
  • Dress smart casual: no joggers, sweatpants, shorts, beachwear, athletic tops, tank tops, undershirts, jerseys, flip-flops, sandals, slides or work boots.
  • Table guests are asked to arrive as close to opening as possible and to bring the physical card used for the booking.
  • Sound recommends rideshare; if you drive, there is a secured, lit lot next door at 1632 N Las Palmas Ave and another at 1634 N Las Palmas Ave.
