Sorginzulo

Sorginzulo is a pintxo bar on Plaza Nueva with a shelf of awards. It was named the best pintxo bar in the Basque Country in 2018, and its mini burger won a best burger pintxo prize in February 2024. It has two spaces on the square, so if one counter is full, try the other.

It sits at the centre of the Plaza Nueva txikiteo, with Gure Toki and Antxoa Taberna on the same square, which makes it an easy first stop before the bars of the Siete Calles. Opening hours are not published, so check before you go. Not for you if you want somewhere quiet: the square is at its loudest when the bars are at their best.
