Craft beer bar on King Street with 31 taps, a South West focus, thirds for the strong beers and a smoker in the kitchen.

Small Bar opened on King Street in December 2013 and has 31 taps, with breweries from the South West first in line. Strong and unusual beers come in thirds, so you can try more of them without overdoing it. The kitchen is built around a US-made barbecue smoker and turns out burgers, hot dogs, wings and sandwiches.

It opens at 16:00 from Monday to Wednesday and at noon from Thursday to Sunday, and closes at 00:30 in the week, 01:00 on Friday and Saturday and midnight on Sunday. King Street runs down to the harbour, and Thekla is a short walk away. Not for you if you want cocktails or a dancefloor.
